PAX East 2022: First look at Dead Fury from Apogee Entertainment

Attention zombie fans! Get ready for some serious exciting gameplay in Apogee’s new release: Dead Fury.  This apocalyptic, fast paced 3rd person shooter is loaded with captivating story lines, with it’s narrative driven missions and linear story lines.  Explore New Zealand, as you as you play the role of Jaxon, a soldier sent to fight off hordes unstoppable human killing machines.  These zombies will also come at you from multiple different ways, including different running speeds and even crawling.  The infection was hidden in Mars rocks and infected the population that has also set up traps to slow you down.  Your search will lead you to a rare flower that will effectively slow the spread of the infection of Fury destroying humanity.

I took some time to sit down with Paul to discuss the progress of Dead Fury, here at PAX east 2022.  The game will be available for early access as a single player game and for our multiplayer seekers, they will include multiplayer arcade mode on release day.  I was informed that they have high hopes to start beta testing in the next few months; releasing on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam for PC. At this point the developers feel that they are looking at another year of development and are about halfway done with the core systems.  I am personally excited to jump in on this game during the beta process!
